L'île de Ré

The island of Ré, stretches over a length of about 26 km with a vary width from 70 m to 5 km. It has 100 km of coastline, half of which are beaches.  With a total surface area of approximately 85 km2, it is the fourth largest island in France, behind Corsica, the island of Oléron and Belle-Ile.

Its nature is preserved with over 100 km of bicycle trails, there are beautiful beaches and salt marshes (located north of the island), authentic villages and hospitable ports ...
It connects to the mainland by a bridge and it is close to La Rochelle, 20mn from Coté Ocean, so you can easily take a little side trip to this island!
